| Upon President Rutherford’s passing in early 1942, the Watchtower Society confirmed that Rutherford successfully completed the 1942 Yearbook of Jehovah’s Witnesses, just prior to his departure. Therefore, the 1943 Yearbook of Jehovah’s Witnesses ushered in a new period known as the Knorr era. Upholding the tradition his predecessor established in 1927, Nathan Knorr continued publishing the annual Yearbook throughout his entire presidency. As with earlier editions, it too contained a report of the organization’s activities for the previous year and a daily devotional text. |
